Description

Designed for Adventurers, Made for Memories

Cook with confidence and style in our quality camp apron, made for the van kitchen, the backyard BBQ and everything in between. The star is the beautifully embroidered Eriba Puck, stitched in green and white on midnight grey canvas, with soft classic green straps that adjust to fit.

Made from 12oz washed canvas with a water resistant coating, spills bead on the surface and wipe straight off, and the colour hides marks. The front pocket has a metal D-ring sewn in, handy for looping through a tea towel or hanging your tongs. Designed to suit both men and women.

Why you'll love it

✓ Water resistant coating, so spills bead up and wipe away
✓ Front pocket with a handy metal D-ring
✓ Adjustable neck strap and long waist ties to fit most cooks
✓ Heavy 12oz canvas in midnight grey that hides marks
✓ Exclusive embroidered caravan design
✓ Matches our Eriba + Sprite pot holders

Behind the design

Meet the little Eriba Puck, the egg-shaped German caravan that's been turning heads since 1958. Its name comes from Puck, the cheeky fairy in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. It weighed just 230kg, so even a VW Beetle could tow it, and at camp the roof pops up so you can stand up inside.

We chose classic green for the Puck to bring to mind Germany's rolling green hills and mountain valleys. Picture it towed along a winding alpine road, off on its next adventure. Eriba's Touring vans have gained cult status around the world, and vintage van owners still love the Puck today.

Did you know? The name ERIBA is hiding in plain sight. It comes from the first letters of the designer's name, ERIch BAchem.

It has an excellent quality fabric with very lovely attractive embroidery & wide colourlful ties. I gave the pink one to my daughter who is a single mother who takes her child caravaning whenever she can. I m sure she will love it when she opens her parcel Xmas morning. I loved it so much I almost kept it for myself!!! I am a motorhomer so I am eagerly awaiting a "motorhoming apron " to be made by Van Go so I can buy one for myself!!!!!

Love these embroidered aprons. They are very well made, and they will withstand many years of wear. Thank you for making them.

Questions? We've got answers.

Is the apron waterproof?

It has a water resistant coating, so splashes bead on the surface and wipe straight off. It isn’t fully waterproof, but it keeps everyday spills off your clothes.

How do I wash it?

Give it a cold gentle wash, or simply wipe it clean. Washing gently keeps the coating and embroidery looking their best.

Will it fit me?

The neck strap adjusts and the waist ties are long, so it suits most men and women. It measures 84cm long and 69cm wide.

What is the metal ring on the pocket for?

That’s the D-ring, sewn into the front pocket. It’s handy for looping through a tea towel, or for hanging your tongs if they have a hook, so the things you need stay close while you cook.

Is the caravan printed or embroidered?

It’s embroidered, stitched right into the canvas rather than printed on top. There’s nothing to peel or crack, so your van keeps looking good wash after wash.

Are there matching pot holders?

Most of our Iconic aprons have a matching pair of embroidered pot holders, and you’ll find a link in All the details if this apron has one. Together they make a great set for the van kitchen.

Does it make a good gift?

Yes, it’s one of our most popular gifts for caravanners and keen BBQ cooks. It arrives folded with a swing tag, ready to give, and shipping is free on orders over $150.
