What are the bowls made from?
They’re made from a quality bamboo composite material, which gives them a warm, natural feel along with the durability you need for life on the road. They’re lightweight, scratch resistant and completely BPA-free and food-safe, so they suit everyday use at the van just as well as at home.
How big are they, and how much do they hold?
Each bowl is 15cm square and 5cm deep, holding around 3 cups. That’s a generous serve of cereal or muesli in the morning, a bowl of soup or curry at night, and plenty of room for salads, dips and desserts in between.
Can I use them for hot food like soup and curry?
Yes, they’re suitable for hot and cold food. They’re not microwave or oven safe, so if you’re reheating, warm the food in a microwave-safe container first, then serve it in the bowl.
Do they stack?
Yes. The square shape stores neatly, so a set sits tidily in a caravan cupboard or drawer and stays put while you travel.
Can I put them in the dishwasher?
Yes. Most caravanners wash them by hand at the van and pop them through the dishwasher at home between trips. A quick rinse in the van sink is usually all they need day to day.
Do they match the plates?
Yes. The bowls come in the same colours and designs as the 22cm and 26cm plates, so you can match a full set or mix and match across the range. Pair an illustrated bowl with a solid colour plate, or give everyone their own colour. It all works together.
Do they come in a gift box?
Individual bowls don’t come in a gift box, but the 4-piece bowl sets are gift boxed and ready to wrap. They make a lovely gift for a new van, a birthday, retirement or Christmas for someone who loves life on the road.
